I can’t believe my baby shower has already come and gone! Now that I am in my sixth month of pregnancy baby boy will be here before we know it! My family and friends put so much hard work into my shower and I honestly wouldn’t change a thing!
Below are the details from my shower – I will link everything I can!
when guests walked in they were instructed to grab a glass of champagne or a glass of sparkling cider topped with a cotton candy puff that once dissolved in their drink would fill the glass with drinkable glitter! The best part is the cotton candy is made from organic sugar + natural colors so there isn’t all the icky ingredients! You can get one of their 50 flavors HERE
My bar cart was rented from Spark Vintage Rentals here in Nashville and we printed the poster from an Etsy order (poster found HERE)
My sister created a “momosa” bar for all the guests – we had two different types of juice, champagne, cider, and ice water with edible flowers frozen in the ice cubes. The “Momosa” print can be found HERE
We had some of the food catered from Juniper Green Kitchen, my sister made the beautiful cheese board (check her out on IG at “@TraderJoesBoards“) and Nathan’s grandmother hopped in and finished the deviled eggs! Everything was gluten-free and my sister made sure to use sheep’s milk cheese for the board (my body digests it better than cow’s milk)
My bestie picked me up these cookies from @Honeyb.bakeshop – she even made half of the cookies gluten and dairy-free! There were none left by the end of the party so you could say they were a hit! My cake was from my favorite gal Morsel Nashville, all of her baked goods are vegan and gluten-free and the cake topper you can find HERE.
We had plenty of fun games that people could play passively throughout the party, my favorite was probably “my water broke” where the guests had to take a frozen baby and try and be the first to break their little guy free! You can find all the games here: Baby Bingo / How Big is Her Belly? / Diaper Raffle / Don’t Say Baby
My family and friends chipped in on making me these beautiful balloon arrangements! The balloons came from etsy and amazon and we used streamers on the arrangements over the food. (make sure you get yourself a balloon pump, it makes a world of difference!)
My hair and makeup were done by my beautiful friend Chantal Ingram and my dress was from Reformation!
When guests left they were given a mini champagne bottle or sparkling Izzie drink with the instructions to “pop it” when I pop! We got the custom tags for the bottles HERE.
